Tiger Huntsman Spider
Typostola Sp. or possibly Beregama Sp.
Size: I didn't measure it and it doesn't seem to have any official info. About 30mm body? It was quite large.
Family: Sparassidae (Huntsman Spiders)
Distribution: Parts of QLD.
Status: They seem to be very rare.

About the Tiger Huntsman Spider
Only the female has the tiger-like colouring. There isn't a lot of info available on these spiders. I'll look for more...
Note that dead spiders usually fade in colour, so nearly all the spiders will look blacker or darker in colour in real life than they do in the photos of dead spiders from the museum.
